Visit to the Consulate General of Brazil in New York

At the end of June, our partner Helen Naves was invited to visit the Consulate General (CG) of Brazil in New York and to visit the Brazilian Women’s Space (EMuB), launched last March.

The EMuB aims to be the main point of contact of Brazilian women who live or work in New York with the Brazilian Consulate General. In addition to being a place for holding events, conferences and seminars, promoting debates of interest to Brazilian women, such as entrepreneurship, the space also offers a broad range of services, which include clarifying doubts about immigration and assisting women in situations of domestic violence.

During her visit, our partner participated in a meeting with Minister Fernando SENA, Deputy Consul General of Brazil in New York, Soraya Castilho, coordinator of the Commercial Promotion Sector Investment Partnership Program (SECOM) of the Consulate, and Maria Luiza Cunha, Vice Consul.
