As of June 1, 2022, our partner Helen Naves assumes a new position of leadership at New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), as Senior Vice-Chair of the International Section, being responsible for coordinating all chapters of the association in all jurisdictions in which NYSBA has such groups.
Before taking on this new position, Helen served for four years as one of the representatives of the association in Brazil, in the role of “co-chair” of the “Brazil Chapter”, which is the group of lawyers in Brazil that is part of the International Section of #NYSBA.
Based in New York State, NYSBA was founded in 1876, has members from 50 states in the United States and more than 100 countries around the world, with more than 70,000 members. Helen has been a member of the entity for over 10 years.
